Jean Michel Le Roux

Jean-Michel Le Roux, PhD in physics of University Pierre et Marie Curie of Paris and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne has followed a MBA (MTE) program at the IMD Lausanne. After joining Matra Communication France as a researcher specialist in speech processing for phone applications, he contributed to the development of the automatic speech recognition software ViaVoice at the T.J. Watson Research Center at IBM USA.
Then, he directed the department of Bioinformatics within a Swiss start-up company specialized in predictive medicine and also took the responsibility of the Instrumentation department. He joined Supélec in 2006 as deputy director of research and industrial relationship to develop entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer. He co-founded and manage the Center of Student Entrepreneurship in 2010 called PEEPS (Pôle Entrepreneuriat Etudiant Paris Saclay). In 2011, he has been elected chairman of the public incubator (IncubAlliance). Since 2012, he is the “institut Carnot” program officer for the French National Research Agency (ANR). He joined full time the French National Research Agency (ANR) as deputy head of investments for the future and competitiveness department in charge of competitiveness. He received multiple IBM Awards and particularly an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award.
